1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how Travel da Gama collects, uses and protects personal data when you register for or use the agent portal, or when your client's details reach us through a booking enquiry or a shared quote.
2. Information we collect
- Account & agency details — name, mobile number, email, agency name, city, state and GSTIN you provide when registering.
- Booking & enquiry details — the travel dates, guest counts and your client's name, phone or email you enter when sending an enquiry or creating a quote.
- Usage data — pages viewed and actions taken in the portal, used to keep the service secure and working correctly.
- Cookies — small pieces of data used to keep you signed in and to remember your client-mode preference (see §3).
3. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the portal against cross-site request forgery. A separate, non-essential browser setting remembers whether client-mode pricing is switched on; it stays on your device and is never sent to us.
4. How we use information
- to create and manage your agent account, including reviewing new registrations;
- to process booking enquiries, quotes and confirmations you submit;
- to keep the portal secure and investigate misuse;
- to contact you about your account or bookings.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with our own staff who need it to confirm your bookings, service providers who help us run the portal (for example, hosting) under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law.
6. Client quote links
A shared quote link (/q/…) shows your client a client-facing price and, if you choose to include it, your agency's contact details. It never shows our internal B2B pricing or commission.
7. Data retention
We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active and afterwards for the period needed to meet accounting, tax and legal obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls — to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep the portal safe and to respond quickly to any issue.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by reaching out through the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
